Alongside my usual word and pokemon of the month, this English board features various things associated with the holiday season, alongside their English names and a short description. This board features two interactive activities: the Christmas Pickle and a mailbox.
The Christmas Pickle: a Christmas tradition that some families may do, where a pickle-shaped ornament is hidden in the tree, and whoever finds the pickle receives a reward/gift, or good fortune for the new year. A pickle cut-out drawing was made and hidden within the board. Any student that finds the pickle will receive a gift from my gift box, such as stickers or crocheted items - whatever the gift is is up to you.
The Mailbox: a new addition to my English boards, where I will post a question, and students can write their answer to me. This month's question is "what do you want for Christmas?"
I spread out the making/drawing of all the pieces of this board over the course of the previous month, but anyone is welcome to simply print out what they want, or simplify this board into their own design, as I recognize that this is a packed-full board.
Anyways, have fun with it, and take from it what you'd like! aimed for JHS, can be used for ES and HS
This is really nice! It looks like so much for the students!
