This is a fun activity that gets students to memorize comparatives and superlatives with fun pictures. I have two versions of this game which I will post below.
The cards come in sets of 3: tall, taller, tallest; small, smaller, smallest; etc
Students will shuffle the cards and get four each. They will be picking up and passing cards in a circle, only one student will have the deck. When they pick up a card they must discard a card so they only ever have four cards in their hand. The discard from one student is the pick up pile for the next. The winner of the game needs 3-5 sets. (Depends on how fast they play/how many students are in a group and which version you choose to use.) If they finish fast they can have another go at it! This is like spoons, but no spoons and getting sets of three instead. Here is video incase you are unsure about my explanation:

Prep will take time depending on how many times you will use the game. 10 min if you just are printing and cutting them out for your students (PRINT USING THE SHORT EDGE FOR NEW CARDS TO MAKE THEM DOUBLE SIDED!!!) and 2hr+ if you are laminating them. I made 8 sets of my new cards and it took me 3 hours with the help of two students who were just chilling in the library. For my older cards I didn't create a backing for them and they are different sizes so if you laminate I recommend the extra step of glueing them down on a piece of colored paper so they aren't see through.
Old version : many examples and funny pictures (NO more and most)
new version: less examples and cute pictures (has a few examples using more and most)
