MATERIALS NEEDED:
- Pencil and paper (one for each student).
DETAILED EXPLANATION:
- Give each student a piece of blank paper and have them write the alphabet at random, covering the entire page.
- Tell the students they have to connect the alphabet. They cannot lift the pencil off the page, nor cross any line they have already written.
VARIATIONS:
- To add difficulty, have students write the letters and exchange papers.
TEACHING SUGGESTIONS:
- Show a demonstration so that students don't try to write all the letters linearly. Letters should be distributed randomly throughout the entire page.
- Have the alphabet in order on display.
- I have never seen an arrangement that COULDN'T be completed, It just takes some strategizing.
