Put your students to the test with a minimal-pair pronunciation activity.

Check the pronunciation of each word with the students, have them repeat each word several times. Repeat until they can hear the difference between the words in each pair. Depending on the level of the class, it may be useful to also check the meaning of each word as well.

Choose one word from each pair to read. Students will listen and follow the appropriate arrow based on what they heard you say.

At the end, ask students what number they ended on. Repeat from the top if students struggled/want a second (or third) chance.

There are two pronunciation trees on the worksheet - you can have students do both in one lesson, or you can save one for a future lesson if you don't have much time.
