Ordering Fast Food

These are cards to help students practice ordering fast food in English. This is for the Sunshine Year 2 textbook. Phrases used: "May I", "Would you like", and "I'll have"

There are 20 cards, and each one is a little different. On them, there's a picture of a main dish (a hamburger/2 hamburgers, a cheeseburger/2 cheeseburgers, a green salad/2 green salads, an apple pie/2 apple pies), fries (small or large), and a drink (tea, coffee, milk, orange juice, apple juice - small, medium, or large). The paper bag represents "to go" and the tray of food represents "for here". the price is the total of the meal according to the menu in the textbook. On the back side of the card is the answer, according to this dialogue in the textbook:

Cashier: May I help you?
Customer: Yes. I'll have ___, a __ French fries, and ___ please.
Cashier: What size name of drink would you like, small, medium, or large?
Customer: ____, please.
Cashier: For here or to go?
Customer: *_____, please. *
Cashier: Would you like anything else?
Customer: No. That's all. Thanks.
Cashier: OK. That'll be $$$$, please.
Customer: Here you are.
Cashier: Thank you. Here's your change.

After practicing the dialogue and going over communication tips (eye contact, smiling, saying thank you, etc.), put the students in pairs and give each pair a card. After the allotted time is up (I did 1 min 30 seconds), they pass their card to the group next to them. Practice 5 or so times.

note: practice A cheeseburger vs. TWO cheeseburger*S*
note 2: printing the answers on the back side of the cards is a bit tricky. It might take a few attempts before printing it correctly.
