Bananas Feud Quiz

A short quiz game to introduce comparatives

This is a feud style quiz game.

You'll need a print of the questions as well as a TV/projector and a computer or tablet.

Either make groups or have the rows be groups (The latter works for social distancing)

The first student in each group stands up and you show the key words on the slide and make sure everyone knows the meaning of the words.

Then you ask the question. The students raise their hands to answer. If they answer correctly they pick a letter from A to E and get points for their team. After than the other teams have a chance to get points too. The round ends when a student gets -3 or 5 points. When you click on that point it takes you to the answer check.

The remaining first students sit down and the second students stand up.

The first question is an example. I do that before making groups. Let them know they get chances to answer the question until somebody gets a 5 or -3.

On the actual slides if you hit the arrow button it takes you to the Game Over slide.

After you click on a point box you click on the points to go back to that slide or onto the answer check slide.
