This Typhoon game matches my Super Mario Typhoon, but is themed differently just to add some variety.
Start by asking students to pick a number and that will decide what team they are on. From there, ask them questions and whomever gets them right, they can pick a block. Most of the block effects are basic, but here is a list of the quirkier ones
- Ganondorf: Spin the wheel by clicking it and stop the wheel by clicking it again. If they land on ganon's face, they lose ALL POINTS
- Wolf and Inkling: let the team pick another team to lose 10pts
- Isabelle: Give 15pts to another team
- Joker, Ridley, and King K. Rool: Steal points from any other team
- Steve (minecraft): Same as Ganon but with less suffering and better odds of getting points
- Master Hand and Crazy Hand: Trade points with any other team
To get back to the main screen, click on the characters on each slide to return. Have fun!

Have you ever checked the site Korshare? You need to register to see their stuff but there are probably dozens of these Bomb Game/Typhoon games templates posted there. It can be useful to have the variety when student movement is limited because of social distance. A lot of the posts seem to repeated games though since different users seem to take and repost a lot of the same games but still quite a bit of selection if you are into this type of activity.
Hi Lucas - I recognise your stuff from before you moved, thanks for posting it here!! Just a question - when I click the logos/blocks it doesn't take me to a result. Also I'm afraid that accidentally clicking the characters takes me to a hyperlink. Otherwise this is SO good, I'm always in need of new Typhoon powerpoints! :D
