Whose is it? Detective puzzle

Students use the process of elimination to see which item belongs to which person.

This is an individual activity and is good for a warm up. The students must read the clues and deduce which item belongs to which person.

Have the students work individually to solve the puzzle. Explain that they are detectives and must solve the case of the missing items. The students must read the hints and think logically about which item belongs to who.

Emi - black cat, Kota - book, Saki - fish, Erika - guitar, and Alex soccer ball.
It is pretty easy so feel free to change the hints to make it more difficult for the students.

I don't think the answers you provided are the correct answers. On the file, there are 6 characters, but you only listed 5 in your description. I think Emi's item is the Mario t-shirt and Jane's item is the black cat. Everything else is fine.

The answers you've listed are incorrect. Its Jane's cat and Emi's shirt, no?

Thank you all for helping to clarify the confusion. I was also confused with the writer's answers.
