The attached document serves as a template for the six "trading cards" or "slips." Print them out; cut each page into the three pieces; and shuffle. Give each student three slips.
The game operates like Guess Who. Students approach one another and play scissors-paper-rock to determine who asks. The winning student asks two questions to confirm the identity on the other student's card. If they are correct, they can take the other student's card.
Demonstrate this with your JTE at the front of the classroom first. Be very clear about the grammar usage. Then, let the students move around the room and talk.
The aim is to collect as many "slips" as possible and not run out.
At the end, get students to return to their seats and do a final review of the grammar point.
Variants of this game are frequently called the "Boss Game."
