I think this will be very helpful for many ALTs but just a heads up, the correct way to say 12:05 is twelve oh five and not twelve five. I have been an ALT for a very long time and this seems to be a very common mistake among JTEs' but I was a little surprised to see it here.

I second the 12:05 thing. When I explained it to my students they understood pretty quickly, and it's easy for them to pronounce.
