This power point presentation can be used for discussion of Unit 4 in Let's Try 2 (What time is it?)

  • Teachers can use it for discussion of hour (one o'clock, two o'clock, etc...)
  • Teachers can use it for discussion of hour and minutes (1:30, 2:45, etc...)
  • Includes an oral quiz where students can say their answer

      I think this will be very helpful for many ALTs but just a heads up, the correct way to say 12:05 is twelve oh five and not twelve five. I have been an ALT for a very long time and this seems to be a very common mistake among JTEs' but I was a little surprised to see it here.

      I second the 12:05 thing. When I explained it to my students they understood pretty quickly, and it's easy for them to pronounce.
