my 2nd grade special support class has always been particularly uninterested in english and more interested in games like fornite and apex. I was actually able to get them to play this game under the premise that it was god for practicing aiming in those games. its a miracle :')
Wonderful! I'll be playing it with my kids next class! The only thing I'm nervous about is in the option aBc with mixed letters, since it's a sans serif font, it's hard to tell between a big i and little L, for example: Il. I refreshed and it happened at least every 5-8 refreshes.
@MinamiCat I'll change the font to something more readable as soon as I can. (Probably Wednesday)

This is great! But I suggest changing the font size and removing the underline because sometimes the students got confused about the letters "i" and "l", and how the letter "a" should be properly written in the alphabet as well. Thank you!
Changed the fonts. Should be easier to distinguish between I, l and i :D

Unfortunately that one is blocked even on the teacher network! The original ABC Race works fine on both. I don't know what that was hosted on.
@KobeALT I think the creator of the original ABC Race has his own paid hosting. I need to start going that route soon...

such a great game! my students have been using this for a quite a while now.. however, just recently there seems to be an error as it doesn't show the letters in the boxes rather it's just all white squares in the boxes. Hoping creator could fix it.
I'm just getting a black screen when I try to launch the game, on both links. Anyone else?

Hello! This is such a good idea! Thank you so much for this! However, I'm planning to use this for my special needs class and would be eternally grateful if the fonts were changed to the font usually used in their textbooks, like Handwriting WeCan or UD デジタル 教科書体.
This saved my life today as my fourth graders have been rough. I was surprised everyone was playing! My only wish is that the game modes could be separate. I wanted to challenge them to only do lowercase letters and compete for a high score, but they would switch to the much easier capitals and quickly do the hiragana to feign that they got the high score fairly. My students do not follow an honor system of any kind xD
For my first class I had my score on the board for the students to beat, then I had each consecutive class try to beat the other class's high scores.
