A simple warm-up activity that will allow students to flex their creativity and express their interests. Tablets are required for this activity.
Students have to answer two questions:
- What is more interesting, the city or the countryside?
- Where do you want to live?
Lastly, students are encouraged to find a picture of the location where they want to live.
The students will be tasked to create a slide in 10 minutes that can be presented to the class.
Before students begin the activity, model a teacher example. I will include a PowerPoint link to the example slides I use.
If your JTE uses Loilo Note, student slides can be presented to the class. I usually call on a few students to present their slide and reward them with stickers.
