Just go through the powerpoint and challenge the students to read the handwritten sentences out loud. They get harder as it goes, ending in the last slide, which is sort of just a joke at that point, although my students were fascinated by it and wanted to look at it a lot. To make it harder, delete the cursive handwriting chart on one slide, or to make it easier, review the cursive writing chart at the start.
For extra fun, change it up with your own handwriting!

This ought to be fun! It would be cool if you could set up a google forms or something to collect samples of different handwriting from users on this site. Don't know how that would work, though.
Good idea for an English club
Hayden makes a great point! It would be cool to see more personal fonts that also use phrases from the textbooks/using familiar vocabulary. In any case, a really fun activity to try for sure!
