My old JT taught me this activity. Whilst this is called 'bingo', it is a little different. The teacher doesn't call out any words. Instead the students take their bingo sheet and walk around the classroom asking each other 'When is your birthday?'. They then circle/cross off the month and date. e.g. When is your birthday? It's April 22nd.
The student asking can circle/cross off 'April' box and the '18th - 24th' box.
After 2 - 5 minutes, (However long your students need, but I think 3 minutes is fine.) students return to their seats and you can ask how many bingos they have.
Birthday Bingo
For 5th or 6th graders (or older students too) learning or reviewing : When is your birthday?
