This is something I made for my JTE to help second year JH students review the past simple and past progressive at the end of chapter one of the "Here We Go" book. It also gave us the chance to introduce them to the English names of the Golden Week holidays. I made this to cover most of a period, but it's flexible depending on how much time you give students to talk to each other and work independently.
