Learning the 12 Days of Christmas Song

Listening Activity — 15 mins
Students asked to put their desks together to form groups (group size depends on the class)
Students listen to the song “12 Days of Christmas” TWICE and complete handout
ALT goes through answers using Google Slides

Singing Practice — 10 mins
Each line of the song will be dedicated to a group (some groups may have multiple lines to learn depending on the class)
Students are given time to practice their lines
ALT will go through a practice run WITHOUT music

Singing Performance — 5 mins
Students perform the whole of the song “12 Days of Christmas” WITH music
