It was a full lesson following the steps in the textbook. After going through step 2 in the text book, we practiced the questions in the tool box.
Worksheet:
step 1; students form pairs and create a quiz about their hero/famous person using the textbook as a guide.
step 2; students make memos about their heroes (Japanese ok!), then go ahead to answer the questions there in English.
step 3; students use details from step 1 and 2 above to write about their hero in at least 7 sentences.
I was able to accomplish step 1 and 2 in the first lesson, then step 3 in the second lesson. It gives the students enough time to research and write.
