This one is fun and simple and generally gets a lot of laughs.
Practice the vocabulary and then demonstrate.
In a pair play rock scissors and paper. The winner selects a command and the loser must follow that command. After they've followed the command play again and repeat. Continue until a time limit is reached. The winner is the student who checked off the most commands.
I added a simple Imperative Version....not really sure the original source of that worksheet. Somebody I used to work with or the Englipedia.
Also added one for 'I ordered you to do something' from the third year lessons. It ties into the Once Around Board Game Materials. In particular the Ask and Told worksheet. Note on this one some of the commands have a dot and not a number. Students can do the commands in any order but those are part of a chain that must be followed in order. 'Open the Book' 'read the page' 'close the book' etc.
