A powerpoint containing a Sugoroku game for each of the elementary school grades. You can print off the slide with the required game board, or save it as a pdf and send it to students notebooks (to use the notebooks as the game board). Requires dice and counters (or students could use another notebook with dice rolling website and erasers for counters). The 3rd and 4th versions are ready to go after this, but the 5th and 6th grade games require you to print and cut out a set of cards for each group.
3rd and 4th grade games are based on the ubiquitous Let's Try 1 and 2 books, but the 5th and 6th grade games are based on the Here We Go! 5 and 6 books. I imagine there is a good deal of crossover, but changes can be made to the game fairly easily to make it more suitable to the textbook that your school uses.
Aside from the explanation and setup its an easy activity and requires little effort to run, so its best used when you're tired of running your nth high-energy yearly review lesson because the textbook was finished in early February and you've been asked to fill the remaining lessons with fun games!
Hope it's of use and that you and your students enjoy!
(I added the unit to the 5th grade cards so that they could easily search for the answer. This was a fairly low level class so wanted to help with the flow of the game)
The 3rd and 4th Graders version is very cute, like it very much. I ll try it soon!
