- First, review the name of the animals.
- Ask the students to choose one animal among all the animals presented. Keep it a secret.
- Make pairs.
- Then, the students should ask the question, "Who are you?" AT THE SAME TIME
- The students should also answer AT THE SAME TIME.
- If they have different answers, they are SAFE then look for a new partner until the time is up.
student A and B: WHO ARE YOU?
student A (Im a cat.) student B (I
m a lion.)
- However, if they have the same answer, that is GAME OVER so both of them should sit down.
For the second round, if they have the same answer instead of both of them sitting down they should do JANKEN. The loser will sit down and the winner can still play.
This game can be played in reverse. I call it the WINNER GAME. If they have the same answers, that means they win so they can sit down. If they don`t have the same answer, the student should keep looking until he/she finds someone who has the answer as her/him.
NOTE: The students can change their answers from time to time.
This PowerPoint is not yet done. I will update this sooner or later. Thank you.
Super easy! Thank you.
Nice idea. I like simple and no prep!
actually just played a version of this with my 6th graders today for joining different clubs. it can easily be played for many different grammar points!
Hi Sophie! Could you share a google drive link to the version you played with your 6th graders? Thank you in advance.
I tried this with my 6th graders. Instead of ending the game after getting aiko, I let them earn points. If aiko, zero point. If different, they both get a point. This way, game continues and they keep talking.
