This was a short fun little presentation I whipped up to get my 6th graders thinking about the words they're learning instead of just regurgitating them.
The first slide is just a review of the main questions they learn in this lesson
"What club do you want to join?"
"What event do you want to enjoy?"
"What subject do you want to study (hard)?"
Afterwards there's a series of slides featuring various anime characters. They begin by introducing themselves and saying something about themself, such as "I like science". After that I would have the character ask a question to the class, such as "What club do I want to join?" and have the students raise their hands to give an answer.
I made sure to include images to help narrow down the choices for the students, and if they seemed unsure I would return to the character's introduction slide to make sure the students understood what the character was saying. My JTE is also an anime fan so he would also add commentary as I went through.
You can easily change the characters to fit your class' interests or add more if you'd like! I originally made this in Google Slides because my school uses chromebooks, but I uploaded it here as a powerpoint. Let me know how this goes if you use it! and also what characters you added, if any! :)
