Inspired: Months Practice for One World Smile One
Inspired: Under the Sea / Forest Creatures / Stuff on a Desk
Estimated time: 10 minutes including demonstration. The writing takes about 15 if they come to be checked after each round.
Note: These worksheets were made my another ALT from my old office.
Make a group and determine order.
Give each group a worksheet.
First student can call 1, 2 or 3 numbers in order. Circle them on the worksheet to make it easier to remember.
Next student can then call 1, 2 or 3 numbers.
Continue around like that.
Whoever ends on 100 is the loser.
UPDATE: I've added the Lucky 100 version. Here to student who gets the number is the winner. This can be better with sensitive kids. I've had kids cry when they got the 'OH NO' more than once in a class.
When a group is finished you can give them another one of the worksheets and they can play again until a set time is reached.
I've included a version of this ordinal numbers (1st, 2nd, 3rd etc)
I've also included a scrambled numbers worksheet that is good for follow up writing. It was modelled after one here however I recently added writing lines since teachers love those writing lines.
