*Students will trace the names of the months and then practice writing them several times on their own. To prevent it from being overwhelming, they should work on the first six months during one lesson and complete the remaining six months in the following lesson.
*The Snakes and Ladders board game should be played in pairs to help familiarize students with the months. Allow them to play it again in future lessons for review and reinforcement. Let the students in the special needs class say the words in English. But if your class is at a higher level of English, you can have them ask the question, "What month is it?" first and then answer it.
