[This is inspired by 'Jungle Survivors - Because/Why Activity' by onighost.] - I'm planning to use this worksheet with their PowerPoint, however for some classes I have less time, and so I will only be using this worksheet.
Set up:
Print one worksheet per student.
Objective:
Students will choose which items to take to survive and say why using 'becuase'.
Method:
Give students the worksheet.
Explain that they are lost in the jungle, and they need to choose four of these items to survive.
Check that they know what all the items are.
Then, they can either work individually or in groups to decide and write their reasons. I usually give my students dictionaries for writing tasks, and try to avoid the Chromebooks as they will just end up using Google Translate.
At the end, students present their choices to the class. Bonus points for creativity!
Thanks to onighost for making such a cool activity! I might make my own PowerPoint to companion this worksheet in the future.
((For formatting, I use: 'Antique Olive Compact' or 'Segoe UI Black' for titles, and 'UD デジタル UK-R' for body text.))
((Be aware: I always put the month in the top corner of my worksheets, please check it is the correct month!))
Thank you. Could you please upload it in pdf file format?
@Miki248 done :)
