Inspired by various great counting activities on here, I made a game for students to practice counting objects and "How many ~ ?" sentences. Since I'm based in Osaka (arguably the best place in Japan), I gave it an Osaka theme with each scenario referencing famous things from the prefecture. It's pretty straightforward with just going through the slides, asking "How many ~ ?" and having students count the objects that appear. You could also introduce a team element to make it competitive. I wanted it to be a bit silly and let my students have some fun! Let me know if there any issues with the animations, it's been a while since I made something more complex on PowerPoint lol. まいどおおきにー!
How many? Osaka Edition!

SO cute!!! Has a bit of a wario ware vibe to it, I really love it! Unfortunately already finished this unit for the year, but hopefully other people can get some use out of it!
it's amazing!
Wowwww! Each slide looks like a lot of work, thank you so much!!
It's wonderful. Thank you so much!
Oh what a fun idea! Prefecture/State/Country themes weren't something I thought of. I tend to lean towards characters which I've been wanting to not heavily rely on. Great idea!
Hey, from your neighbor in Kobe! Love this so much!!! I teach at a children's hospital school for Hyogo Prefecture and we sometimes have students from Osaka. All the kids will love this but especially the ones from Osaka! Thank you! And the use of PPT shapes for the katsuobushi was BRILLIANT!!!
