I didn't like how boring the NH3 scenes were especially for this specific scene. The student I taught this to is a slow reader and has a hard time understanding English although he is a 3rdyr JHS student. So, I made a more interesting version of it that includes the new vocab for this unit. Feel free to make any needed changes or anything to the PowerPoint.
Instructions:
- Read the first part alone and have students listen (or have them repeat whatever floats your boat)
- Go through each slide and have students read it out loud. For each slide as students what they think it means. Use gestures and the pictures to help the students.
- Go back to the first slide and have students read it all together without you. Then ask a student what it means in its entirety.
