I made this for my special needs class, but it should work for elementary school as well.
Print out the final three slides and cut them into cards. Make one set for however many groups of students you want to make for the game. Just 2-4 students is ideal.
Reveiw the words with the students and be sure to point to the clip art. There are other images, but it's the clip art they'll need to remember. Yes, I threw in a little A.I. art to get funny reactions from the students.
Once the review is done, tell the students they'll be playing a game called "Fast Touch." This game likely has other names, but I say Fast Touch because its a hit to how the game works that even students with low English should be able to figure out quickly. Give each group a set of cards face up. Then say each action and the first student to touch the card gets to keep it. In the end, the student with the most cards wins. Have students who disagree about who touched a card first do rock, paper, scissors.
I've done variations of this game with my special needs kids several times and once they understand what to do, they really enjoy it.
Thank you. Could you please provide google slides link of it or compress the file size to less than 40 MB?
Morning! like theh sound of the game, is there a way to access the powerpoint?
