For some reason this has a thief theme, so I think I was going to have a setting that someone had stolen my pizza, and the students needed to work out who (haha).
So, set your scene.
If you're using the gap fill version (where students have to fill in the Q word), then let them try that first. Check the answers as a class.
Do a demonstration with your JTE to show how the game works. One person chooses a character in secret, the other asks questions about the chosen character until they've narrowed it down and can guess who the partner has chosen.
Swap roles and repeat.
It's pretty easy so I think students will get through the characters quite quickly.
