The new New Horizons Elementary textbook gives them space to write this out, but I made a worksheet anyway.
① Students trace the sentences about Italy. Remind them to think about the meaning as they do this. After 2-3 minutes, go over the sentences and their meanings. I like to have my students repeat the sentences after me, too.
② Students trace the words that are already written, then complete the sentences with the information from the boxes at the top. It's all in order so it shouldn't be too hard. Again remind them to think about the meaning as they complete this task. After another 3 minutes or so, go over the answers with the students. I like to open the PDF of the worksheet on the TV and type or write in the answers just so students can check their answers.
③ Set the students free. Have them write about the country they want to visit. You can delete the QR codes if you'd like - they link to the Meiji webpage for kids about countries and their food and culture, and the National Geographic for kids website about different countries (it's in English but most likely any student devices will automatically translate the page to Japanese - if they use this one, be sure to check any information they use because sometimes translations get wonky, especially of proper nouns).
I also think having them look up and say the greeting from the country they want to visit is neat. I don't REQUIRE it, per se, but I encourage my students to do it.
