I want OO janken game

I made this specifically for the special needs class but I think it can be used by 4th grade and up. In pairs, students battle to get as many items as they can in 5 minutes while saying, "I want OO."

  1. put students in pairs.
  2. give each pair a set of cards.
  3. ask each player to pick one card. This card is for the practice of the sentence, "I have OO."
  4. next, the students do rock, scissors, paper. The winner completes the sentence, "I have OO and I want OO." The answer to the "I want OO" part will come from the remaining cards. Students continue to do this for 5 minutes.

To make it more fun, you can allow students to steal a card from their opponent.
