Memory Game (Shapes)

A pair or group activity to practice identifying shapes. I made use of real life shapes like a pizza for circle, a window for square, and so on.

Print 2 copies of the cards for it to be a pair then cut. It would be better to print it on a thick paper or cover the back part with colored paper, which I did.

I showed the PowerPoint first to review the students with the different shapes.
1. Have the students work in groups or pairs. Put the cards on the table and make sure that they all face down.
2. Janken who goes first.
3. The first student will choose two cards and see if they match. If so, they get one point.
4. If not, they have to return the card back to where they got it.
5. The student with the most points is the winner. You can give them stickers as reward.
