A simple review style game that has 20 questions.
Divide the students into groups and give each group a whiteboard/marker/eraser set.
The game will open to falling snow. Click to change to the opening scene of the Sanrio characters celebrating Christmas.
Click again to go to the main slide for choosing questions. Present boxes will fade in. Click again for Kiki and Lalas speech bubble to show the students how to choose a question. They should ask by saying something like 'the red box with the green ribbon' or something like that.
Click the corresponding box to be taken to a question slide. Click through the directions box, question box, and answer box. Clicking the cake will return you to the present box slide. Clicking the stocking will take you to a naughty or nice screen. Students can choose naughty which are various effects that will take points from other teams and possibly their team. Nice will give them some points.
Click the character to return to the main present box screen.
I would click through it a few times before playing it with the class so you can get the timing.
My house rules for review games are that one team chooses a question and all teams must answer. All correct answers earn a team 1 point. The team that chose the question gets to do the naughty or nice bonus. We rotate the team that chooses.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to improve the game!
Sounds super fun, thanks!
It's cute. Thank you for sharing.
This is so cute. Thank you!
This is delightful! I'm going to use it for junior high, thank you so much!!
This is great! I will probably use this, thank you! I have a question. For "The team that chose the question gets to do the naughty or nice bonus." - does that team still get to choose even if they get the question wrong? Cheers
@JH_ALT No, I usually don't let them do the bonus if they get the question wrong. Sometimes, I will move to the next team in the order that got the question right and let them do the bonus.
