A PowerPoint logic game and fill-in-the-blank worksheet to practice giving directions and transportation terms.
Materials:
- none
Preparation:
1) - Print the worksheets for all students
2) - Run through the PowerPoint in presentation mode
Lesson:
- This is an exercise for 三年生 students to learn some useful terms in relation to asking for directions.
- Being based on page 63 of the New Crown 1 textbook, you can surely tie it in somehow, but otherwise this activity is perfectly fine on its own.
- This is a fill-in-the-blank activity where students look at three distinct maps and tell the characters how to reach the end objective while using the new words from page 63.
- This lesson is not necessarily funny or exciting, but I find it to be very good practice. The students seem to get somewhat invested in the aesthetics of the locations, and puzzle side of it, and it's brief enough that no one ever seems bored during the lesson.
