I made a quick game for my JTE who wanted her 3rd graders to practice "let me ~" phrases.
I could only use it for today, so I'm a little sad I won't use it again so I decided to share it on Altopedia.
I give a situation, and two erasers/clips/dice on the front table. It's family feud style where the fastest one answers, and hopefully gets a point. Classroom left vs right side.
1st one is demonstration with the JTE. I pick it up first quickly and say "let me go" and show it's incorrect. JTE picks it up and says "Let me... help you." (Or carry that) to show how to succeed.
Let 3 students up at a time from each side for support.
This was rather fun and satisying for the students to use English in real life situations.

Possible Answers:
1) (example) let me carry them/help you
2) let me see/look
3) let me in/inside
4) let me try/play it/do it
5) let me try it/taste it (I try not to accept "let me eat" because it doesn't fit the context and sounds rude since it's not Your bread)
6) let me do it/help you/clean the dishes
7) let me close the window/turn on the heater/give you my kairo
8) let me sleep/sleep more
9) let me check
Reserve the first five minutes explaining the examples page, and give one minute for peer soudan about the slide and what other phrases they can make with it. (I only reveal the translation hints in the last 20 seconds)
Enjoy!
