Say What? JHS Christmas say 20 variation

A simple group-based speaking game for JHS.

This is a Christmas version of the word-based Say 20 I've started doing at my JHS. This one would work best for 3rd years since it uses the restrictive/non-restrictive clause pattern. The printout has four copies of the story per page ready to be cut out. I print them on A4, and the quarter sized pages aren't too small.

Instructions:
Group students in groups of 3-4. Pass out a copy to each student. Have students janken to decide who goes first.

When it is their turn, a student can choose to say one, two, or three consecutive words from the story.

The goal is to NOT be the one to say the final word.

Whoever says the last word, 'me', is the loser.

Once each group is finished, you can have all of the losers compete one more time to determine the final loser.

Could you possibly upload a copy without all the katakana on it?

    Thanks

Chet, perhaps after printing, you can white out the katakana before copying. That's how I usually get around it. Or, I put a text box around the word/sentence/ and then but a white background to hide it, if I am going to project it.

Just a suggestion if the non-katakana version is not uploaded in time for you.

Hey, Chet! Sorry for the delay. I added a non-katakana version for you!
