I didn't make this activity. I got it from Englipedia and couldn't find it here on ALTopedia. I've played it 3 years in a row now, and my students have loved it every time, so I wanted to share. If anyone knows who made it, please let me know!
- Give each student a score sheet and a card. The scorecard also has the target language on it that'll be used in the game, so practice that before starting.
- Tell them to fold the card so the words are on one side and the pictures are on the other.
- They stand up and find a pair.
- On the count of 3, both students hold up the picture-side of their card to their pair and race to make a sentence out of their pair's card. For example, "Akiko used a computer on Monday," or "I played baseball on Friday".
- Whoever could say the sentence on their pair's card first can circle "Me" on the score sheet, which equals one point.
- The students say "goodbye" and find a new pair.
- Repeat until time is up or until several students have talked to 10 students.
*Note: the picture for "Friday" is silver instead of gold, and students made fun of me for that, so after printing out the cards, I colored them yellow with a highlighter, lol.

Looks fun! Could you upload the score sheet too?
Great idea, sounds fun.
The score sheet is in the Excel file.
@HughS the score sheet is on Sheet 2 of the file. You should see a tab near the bottom of the screen. :)
Excellent idea, I just used it today!
