Present Perfect Continuous Janken Game

This would work as a scaffolding activity to expose students to the different usage of this grammar point.

You can do this activity as a warm up or as an additional practice for the target grammar.

Students play janken with their seatmate for each slide. The LOSER reads the longer sentence and the WINNER answers using short expression as shown in the powerpoint. While one is speaking, the other one is also listening. So, I think this activity can practice listening, speaking and reading all at the same time. You may also re-shuffle the students so they have a new partner each time. This activity is meant for the skill level of my students. You may adjust it according to the needs of your class since this might be too easy for some students.

You can also challenge the students to make their own original dialogue after a few rounds of this game. I am thinking that since they would already have some familiarity with the sentence form, it wouldn't be too hard to think of a new idea.

Nice, and the level up where they make their own should work too. Small editing mistake on slide seven. You've got growing twice.
