This is based on RedPhoenix's present perfect continuous jankan game.
UPDATE: I added a dubious intro that tries to explain the difference between Present Perfect and Present Perfect Continuous. Not sure I'll use it. Don't necessarily want to open that can of worms.
It can be used as a level up after using his game or on its own if the language point has already been introduced.
Click on the title slide once to see the title and check if they understand it. Click again for the 'that's interesting' and 'so have I' and explain them. Then click one more time for game and say we're playing a Jankan game. Skip this if you've just done RedPhoenix's activity.
On the demo screen click once to show the statement and two responses. Click the timer and play JANKAN with the teacher. The winner makes the first statement and the loser responds. Then do jankan again and repeat the above. Continue until the timer runs out.
After that explain they should try to say true statements about themselves. If they can't think of something true, click once more to reveal 'I haven't read...for a long time'. Tell them they can make a negative statement instead.
Proceed through the four rounds. With each round I'd suggest practicing a little and giving an example or two before you start.
Finally follow up with the writing sheet.
Awesome. I love this!
This is an awesome idea Robert! This level up activity truly complements the introductory PPT that was previously introduced here.
This is so helpful. Thank you so much.
@akopoito. Nice to hear. Thanks. I’m glad it’s been useful.
Very nice, love the examples and differences between status and active. Btw, there's a small spelling mistake. It's spelled Janken not Jankan :)
