This PowerPoint fully details and introduces all 4 grammar points covered in Lesson 1 Get part 1.
It's clearly separated into 4 parts, so you can cover whatever you need to.
I personally split this lesson up into 2 separate classes, and I would recommend doing the same.
You can cover the 'When Conjuncion' first, and then the 'If Conditional'.
Answers to practice questions are revealed in parts if you want to give hints.
I designed this PowerPoint lesson during the Covid-19 State of emergency so to maintain social distancing.
You can have students talk to their neighbours, but mostly this lesson can be done as a class.
*this is my first contribution to ALTOPEDIA, I hope this is helpful for you guys!
If this is a good format/template for future lessons, then I'll try and make more.
Any feedback is welcome!
Nice introduction. The illustrations should make the points really clear. I can't believe how quickly the new textbooks are introducing new language points. You might want to add the 'fade' transistion to the slides. It will make it look smoother when you go from slide to slide.
Ah thank you UonumaRobert! The Fade would is a good idea! It'll also make it more obvious I think when the slide is changing! I'll incorporate it moving forward OuOb
Thank you for your hard work and great work. I was wondering which website you made the character of yourself in all the different actions..
Great work! However, TL is incosistent.
Q: What were you doing? A: I was _____~ing.
Point 2: Focus should be on using when clause and not past progressive form alone.
POINT2: Chain activity will be suited as a practice for POINT 1.
When making activities, it's important to have consistent TL as this is the model your students will be referring back to during practice and production activities.
This is a so cool. Thank you so much.
