Simplified PPT Games

I simplified a few of the classic games. Battle for Japan, Jeopardy, etc.

I made some of templates a little simpler to fit my classes. Feel free to edit as you like. Sometimes we do not have time to play complex games so I have simplied these games.

Quiz Game - Jeopardy style game

Battle for Japan - up to 6 groups. There is one with no questions on the PowerPoint. I use this as a point counter only. Click on the color banners on the map slide to take you to the winning team. I also added one with questions. Click on the ninjas on the map to go to the questions. Then click on each building to take you to a different question. The map takes you back.

US Invasion - up to 4 groups and questions are stacked on the question page., or can be used as just a point counter. Click the "are you ready?" banner to reveal the question button.

Random point giver - Very easy to use. Students choose a square and it gives a point value. Start with a set number of points for each team. Some of the point squares include: Steal points, everyone loses points, Lose points. That is why it is better to start with a set number of points for every team.

These look great. Did you enjoy manually inserting the extra colors into the Battle for Japan map? Easy but time consuming eh? Two things. Maybe for the battle for Japan game add hyperlinks somewhere on the victory slides to go back to the battlemap just in case you press the color banner by mistake or hit the forward key. Also for Invasion USA I recently posted a Widescreen TEMPLATE of the map. I cleaned it up a little bit.
