Update: I fixed a couple of mistakes in the hints, for example calling Mimi Minnie a few times.
Fairly straightforward. I use it primarily with groups.
The first part of the quiz introduces 5 characters and the first eight questions will be about them.
After the characters are introduced you see the first question. Check that the students understand the meaning. Then click start.
Start will cause 4 sentences to appear briefly on the screen. These are the hints. You can read them out as the students are reading along. As a demonstration I say I'm a student, I go to the JT and say 'Team One, Riki is the tallest of the group'. The JT writes that on the board then I pretend to leave and say I'm a member from another group 'Team Five, Woof is the tallest of the group'. Tell the students after every team brings an answer we do an answer check and the correct teams get a point.
To show the answer click on the question. If you click it by mistake you can click the answer to make it vanish. If kids want to see the hints again you can hit start again and again.
After the eight questions there are optional bonus questions. These are pretty standard quiz questions. Fastest student to raise their hands gets to answer first. If they get it their team gets 1 additional point. Only do this part if there is a lot of time. These are the types of questions the teacher will be doing with them anyway. Otherwise jump ahead to writing practice. If there is enough time I break up the groups and have the students do writing practice solo. Give them stickers if they complete a certain number of questions.
An alternate way to do the writing practice that I think would be useful is having the students make the questions and the answers. I'd suggest asking your JT what they prefer and then modifying the sheet as you like or need.
