This powerpoint is meant to introduce 3rd graders to new phrases
"Good",
"I don't know",
"me?",
"Good idea",
"Come here".
"Give me five".
The first 6 slides are gifs of the gesture with the phrase. During these slides practice phrases with students and have them also practice the gestures with each other.
The second half of the powerpoint is a guess the gesture game. Click a colored square to remove the block, keep clicking squares to reveal the gif, let students guess once some of the blocks have been removed. Simple, fun game to get the students aquatinted with these gestures. This game can be modified how ever you see fit. Sometimes I'll have students say a color like "blue" first, then I will remove all "blue" squares. Sometimes if I'm short on time I'll choose the blocks for them. Also gifs are always a huge hit. Enjoy!

'idea' in 'good idea' would look more like this 「アイディア」
My third grade classes loved this! It was a very good icebreaker to get them excited for gestures! Thank you!!
I'm glad! You can show it to them again quickly at the end of the chapter too if you have a little extra time and see if they remember (: @lorna662
Love the gif selection! Very nice. I'd personally cut out the katakana reading guide as I think it leads students down the wrong path.
