Rock em' Sock em' Robots

Fun Speedy Activity to Review QA While Trying to K.O. Your Opponent

Hey guys! Bringing back some nostalgia for ya! If you enjoy playing the old Rock em' Sock em' Robot game when you were younger then I'm sure your students will enjoy this English version, too! Edit the template to fit your own lesson. Please enjoy😊

How to play:
1. Make 2 team - Red vs Blue.
2. Click on the controller in the middle of the slide to bring up the Q&A.
3. Click on the boxing gloves below the robots to try and K.O. the opponent.

Note: Add your own question to the Q&A slide. The questions will be randomly selected. If the student can not answer the question, maybe you can skip their turn or let the other team have 2 tries (it's really up to you).

Nice, I tried making a rock'em Sock'm game like this building my robots out of powerpoint objects but I wasn't satisfied with the visual effect of the punch. Never felt dramatic enough. I've mostly stuck with laser attacks.

Yours looks great. A suggestion, for these fighting activities I usually have the attack buttons either vanish or change color after clicking them but before the attack gets resolved. Two reasons, one of course remembering which buttons got clicked and two if you're using a tablet and the students get to click the buttons themselves it cuts back on button mashing which causes the screen to zoom in or even closes the powerpoint. Nothing eliminates button mashing but it helps a lot.
