A worksheet that runs through the infinitive grammar point outlined on p37 of New Horizon 2.
First, run through the examples with the students - it may also be worth getting the JTE to give an example of their own.
Next, give the students approx. 3-5 minutes to write their own examples. Usually, with these sort of activities, the students spend a lot of time focusing on which country to choose, rather than the grammar itself. A map might be useful in this regard...
Once completed, it's time for them to ask their classmates. Demonstrate the question and answer format with the JTE, then give them approx. 5 minutes to ask three of their classmates where they want to go, and why.
Once they have each filled in their tables, have them write about their friends using the outlined grammar point.
