This matching game is split into two PPTs:
Version 1- JP/EN- Students match the Japanese word with the English word
Version 2- All vocabulary is in English
Directions: (also in the PPT)
Divide the class into two teams. Each team then takes turns choosing TWO numbered squares. If the two squares are the same, then the team gets a point. If the two squares are different, then click on the red circle to hide the picture again.
Students must try to remember where the matching pairs are.
Notes:
In my experience, the most effective way to play this game is to let the team that finds a match get another turn.
When choosing squares, encourage them to say the numbers in English.
Really neat game. One thing though, perhaps there could be a button added to 'finish' the slide, because if any student (or I) misses the red button, it resets the whole thing.
@Umakara A bit belated, but as long as you use the back arrow if you misclick, it shouldn't reset the board!
"a little" belated... I wonder what "a lot" would be? I`m not serious. Thanks man!
