This is essentially a UK reskin of the "School Differences" worksheet put together by Ashlea Miyauchi.
Students must sort sentences into a Venn Diagram, based on whether they apply to the UK, Japan, neither, or both.
Read through the first few sentences with the class, then have the students pair up.
They have 5-7 minutes to read through and categorise each sentence.
Afterwards, check answers together. Use supplemental information regarding the UK's school system, if required.
PS: I've upped the brightness/contrast on some of the images to account for the school photocopier, which is why they look a little weird.
UPDATE: I've added a newer version of the worksheet, as well as an accompanying PowerPoint to run through the answers with the students.
this is a great idea, thanks for adding the doc version so I can adapt it to my home country!
