Practice Stationeries with Yokai Watch !

This works well with Let's Try 2's lessons about stationery items. Review different stationery, play a simple guessing game, then ask Yokai spirits if they have stationeries.

❗My students specifically requested Yokai Watch characters-based game for next week so please don't hesitate to change the characters to your students' liking.
⬇ Here's how ⬇
(Copy a picture you want to use. Next, right-click on a picture you want to change and select 'Change Picture' (図の変更)- 'From Clipboard...(クリップボードから...)' If you have saved the pictures you want to use, select 'From a File' (ファイルから...) instead.)❗
You can also easily change the target vocabulary to what will best fit your lesson by following the same steps above.

Slides 1-13: Review different stationery items.
Slide 14: Guessing Game - guess the stationery items and click the cards to reveal the answers.
Slide 15: Good job!
Slide 16: English Time with Yokai Watch! Title page (you can play this in teams or individually if it's a small class)
Slide 17: Explain that the goal is to return home. Click Whisper (the white yokai) to show the sample of the game. Also, explain that Whisper will be helping them make the yokais happy.
SLIDE 27 (SAMPLE): Elicit the name of the yokai. Play the role of the yokai and say something along the lines of, "Oh no! I forgot one stationery item. Please help me!" Click whisper to show their options. Elicit the question, "Do you have a/an~?" Assume the role of the yokai, click the chosen item of the student(s), and express anger if you already have the item and answer, "Yes, I do" and "No, I don't" if otherwise. IF students get the angry yokai, simply click it to try again.
Slide 18: Show the map of Springdale. Click the map that will lead you to the first intersection.
Slide 19: START by asking students to choose between left and right first. Make sure that students finish the quests in both directions before heading straight to the next location.
Slide 20 (LEFT) and Slide 21 (RIGHT): Same as the sample game. Don't forget to click the return button to choose the next path.
Slide 22 (STRAIGHT): Make sure students go to RIGHT first before heading straight.
Slide 23 (RIGHT): Same as the previous rounds. Make sure to click the return button to head to the next path.
Slide 24: (STRAIGHT): Make sure students go to RIGHT first before heading straight.
Slife 25: GOAL!!!!
Slide 26 (RIGHT): Same as the previous rounds BUT instead of heading straight back. Make students choose whether to go to the right direction or return to the previous location. Give them time to think about it and if possible, don't give any hits on what might happen. If students choose the RIGHT direction, click it and it will take them back to the first intersection. Revisit every Yokai the students met and elicit the question from them again. Do this until they reach the front of the house then click the STRAIGHT arrow to show that they made it to the goal. Celebrate their success!

Don't forget to click through this presentation to be familiar with the timing of the animations.
