Spot it/Dobble (lower case letters and some words)

Pairs or groups turn over 2 cards at a time and whoever says/points to the common letter "wins" those cards.

This is a file with SPOT IT, lower case letters. Just print it out, enlarge it to A3 and cut it up into about 30 cards.
There should be more than two players per group. 6 and over might be two many.
The cards are placed in a stack facing down.
The players take turns to turn over two cards at a time.
The player who finds the common letter or word the fastest gets to win those two cards.
Every card shares a common point with another card.
This game helps students to identity the small letters in the alphabet.

Some people on Altopedia have put up "Spot it"/"dobble" ideas that have really being inspiring me. “Make your own Spot It clone” at http://www.aaronbarker.net/spot-it/spot-it.html is something I have been using a lot lately. I really recommend it. But it takes time to get the hang of it and printing it out is somehow difficult for me (well I mean printing it out into easy to cut sheets of paper) . So I have been making it at the site listed and then pasting it into another frame and then printing it.

I have been making many versions of this game, I mean using vocab from the text we use at my school. I also make it with peoples names. The site gives you options to rotate the words or even use different colours.
