DETAILED EXPLANATION:
After giving each student a bingo sheet and character card, they walk around and have the following conversation:
A: "Who is he/she?" (Shows B their character card)
B: "He/she is...." (Circles A`s character on their bingo sheet)
Reverse roles and repeat.
Reward students who get a few bingos (3 bingos takes about 5 minutes).
VARIATIONS:
- Change the target sentence to meet your needs, for example A: "Who is Mario?" B:"He is Luigi`s friend."
TEACHING SUGGESTIONS:
- Demonstrate the game with the JTE before starting.
- For bad/low-level classes hold up the cards and ask the whole class "Who is he/she?" before starting.
TIPS/CAUTIONS:
- Be careful of mistakes like this: A: "Who is he?" B: "Who is Mario."
- Make sure all students clearly understand the meaning of who/he/she before starting.
