I did use more obscure animals (such as a narwhal and Komodo dragon) because a HRT asked me to be creative with it.
You can use this near the beginning of the unit and read off the questions yourself, or, if your class is higher-level or you're using it later in the unit, you can have the students read off the questions as they appear.
Optionally, you can print the worksheet explaining the additional vocabulary which can also be used when students are writing their speeches for the unit.
